Things children say that make us laugh
Nolan climbed onto my lap the other day. My wedding ring scratched his leg a little bit and I told him I was sorry. He immediately wanted to know if he broke my ring and wanted to know what it was. I explained to him that Daddy gave me this ring because he loved me and that it was a symbol of us being a family. I tried to explain it in more detail and ended up saying "It was a present from Daddy to me." After about 10 seconds of pondering, Nolan looked up at me and said.... "OH, Mommy went potty in the toilet and got a suprise!" It is so funny what goes through their little heads. I chuckled about that all night. My husband, John thought it was funny too.

My OTHER child....
This is my four-legged child named Cheyenne. She will be 12 in May and I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. I found her at Petsmart through The Humane Society. We know that her mom was a cocker spaniel and our vet seems to think the father was a chiuahua (boy, thats hard to spell). Funny combo....I know! She is very "tolerant" of the boys and has been nothing but good to them. She has been here for me through some "ruff" times and I love my four-legged little girl!

Whew! I think everyone is back on the road to being well!
Little Braydon was sick last week. It started with a cough on Sunday the 13th. By Monday, I decided to put him on his nebulizer for breathing treatments. (we have been using this on him a good bit this fall/winter season). I didn't think much more of it, because he was in good spirits until late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. He woke up with a fever last Wednesday morning and was crying. He must of really felt bad because I couldn't put him down. He wanted his Mommy. Thank goodness work is very understanding when it comes to needing time off when your kids are sick. I am very blessed to be working with great people at the hospital! He continued to run a fever, and on Friday we found out he had RSV. (I had a strong suspicion that was what we were dealing with). Luckily, we had been doing everything we needed to do to care for him during this time. We were told he should start feeling better in the next day or two. The last time he had a fever was Friday night. He is doing much better. Hopefully, we can get off the nebulizer in a couple of weeks! Nolan has had a slight cough too, but you would never know it. He is a munchkin FULL of energy!

"In a minute, Mommy"
My youngest is taking after his older brother. You see, every time I ask Nolan to do something or to come here, his automatic response is "In a minute, Mommy." Now, for the first time my 20 month old has officially answered me "in a minute, Mommy." It is annoyingly funny. At what point will it be just annoying? Hopefully never. They get the phrase "IN A MINUTE" from me as my DH has brought to my attention.
Now on to other news, Nolan had great weekend with no accidents in his pants. I think the last time was Thursday morning. He has #1 down with no problems, but doing #2 in the potty scares him for some reason. I could go into more on this subject, but I will spare you the details!

Monkeying Around!!
Is that how you spell monkeying? It looks funny! :) Anyways, the past 2 weekends we have gone to a place called Monkey Joes. It is an indoor playplace with inflatable "bouncey toys".... at least that is what Nolan calls them. A good friend of mine at work has 2 grandsons and went here and highly reccommended Monkey Joes. Great idea Melanie, thanks! I am posting a few pictures and as you can tell by their faces they had a blast.
Nolan can climb these inflatables that are HUGE, and Braydon wants to. Braydon gets upset for 2.2 seconds, but he soon starts smiling and bouncing on the 3 & under inflatables. Oh yeah, we have been using this as an incentive to get Nolan COMPLETELY potty trained. It seemed to have been working pretty good until he had an accident at Monkey Joes this past Sunday. He has more good days than bad lately, thank goodness. I think potty training has been one of the most difficult challenges as a parent for me personally. I sure hope Braydon catches on faster, we will be getting him started soon. I think he will since he wants to do everything his older brother does. Enjoy!

Braydon loves his baths
My youngest Braydon loves his baths! Here he was freshly bathed and just had a diaper on his little bottom. Actually, both my boys love baths. Nolan says everyday that he needs to take a bath. I think more water gets on the floor than in the bath tub. I wonder if there is some kind of gadget or invention to help with this?!?

My husband thought he was going to be arrested!
My husband took us out to eat about a week ago and both of our little pumpkins just were not having a good night. You see, between the excitement of Christmas and both of them catching a cold they were not exactly my little angels. Nolan and Braydon whined and cried over every little thing through dinner. My Husband John, did mention that we needed to stay home the next 10 years until they could behave better in restaurants. We did have one highlight of the evening...Nolan serenaded "JINGLE BELLS," to most of the restaurant and Braydon danced to his brother's singing! At the end of dinner, Nolan had to go potty. John took him to the bathroom and within a couple of minutes, Nolan yells......"DADDY, YOU ARE HURTING ME. STOP!!" He repeated this a couple other times inbetween cries. As they exited the bathroom, the whole restaurant was giving my husband a dirty look. He said that he almost yelled out to his audience that he was just wiping his nose! Yes, that was all he did. He wiped Nolan's nose. Nolan has always hated his nose or face to be wiped. He felt like the cops were going to arrest him for endangering a boogey nose! LOL
