Ode to the Pappy...(Pacifier)

Oh...Pappy,Pappy, how I love you,
Too bad I will soon be the age of two,
You give me comfort when I cry,
It will be hard when the time comes to say goodbye.

Mommy and Daddy have set new rules,
that I can only use you when I snooze,
I guess it is time to start growing up,
Afterall, I do like to use my sippy cup.

Just remember my dear pappy,
you once made me very happy,
So, as I begin my journey in saying adieu...
I look forward to all things exciting and new!

Love,
Braydon

AWW..thats so cute. I bet you're having a hard time trying to get in use to not having a pacifier. I know we're giving Chloe one, but I don't know how that will work out. Keep us updated

That is so well put in verse. I love it. Braydon will soon find all those exciting and new things in his life as you so eloqently put it and Pappy will be gone. He is growing up so fast and no longer a baby.

Poor boy. This is such a cute little poem and picture. I hope you and Nolan are doing okay!

I loved your "Ode to the Pappy". I thought my son was the only one to refer to his pacifier that way. He had to give his up too and every once in awhile he still asks, "Where is pappy?"
