Choo-Choo Trains that go WOO WOOOOOOO!

My boys love trains. I told them yesterday morning that we would build a BBBIIIGGG track when they got home from school. They were excited and this is what they built with very little help from Mommy.



They couldn't wait for Daddy to come home to see their track!

Carrie Underwood Concert!!

Here are some pictures of the Carrie Underwood concert. We had a blast. (Mom, Crystal, and me. I forgot to download the pictures of the three us at the concert too, so I'll have to do another post on that soon. The media seems to portray Ms. Underwood as being a snob, but I don't think she is. She was very down to earth and involved the audience in her singing. She was sincere and you could tell she loves what she does. Her voice sounds exactly like it does on her CD's. There were no flat notes or lip syncing. Well worth the money.

Not in the Mood...

OK...I just am not in the mood to blog this week. I imagine this will be a very boring post! Nolan keeps singing "Five little Monkeys jumping in the bed." I think I will NEVER get that song out of my head anytime soon. Braydon sings the "Barney" song a good bit too! I feel like I am being attacked by nursery tunes...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! LOL I need to take new pictures of the boys....they are so handsome. Update on the swing set is......that it isn't completed yet. We have had 95-100 degree temps the past 2 weeks. I sure hope the whole summer isn't that way. Hubs jokes that he will have to work on it at 10:00 at night.....but it still is in the 80's at that time!

We are planning a Father's day weekend. We will go to a classic/hotrod car show Saturday and maybe pack a picnic lunch. On Sunday, the boys and I will take him out to eat and then everyone will come to our house to eat ice cream cake! Sunday night I am going with my Mom and my sister to the Carrie Underwood concert. :) My mom's treat!

Pictures From The Past...

Nolan loves bubble baths to this day....the more bubbles the better! He was about 14 months in these pictures. He had maybe 6 inches of water and about 2 feet worth of bubbles.

Braydon was about 4 1/2 months old here. He was in his cradle and trying to take a nap, but mommy kept taking pictures of him.



Nolan was 16 months here. It is amazing how he looks so different...yet the same 2 years later.

Braydon always has a smile on his face....even when he was 6 months old. He also looks so different....but the same in many ways.

Here they are now. They grow up too fast....

We went to Suzi's 1 year birthday party!

We had a fun day last Saturday. We helped to celebrate Suzi's 1 year birthday. Her parents are Jenny and Jordan. The boys went to a Shriner's parade too.

Suzi wanted to try out her new gift from Nolan & Braydon. The verdict is still up in the air...she will have to get use to the sprinkler!

It took him a little longer to decide he was tired......maybe a whole 3 more minutes then Braydon! Party animals need their rest too!
