I have one. I really do. I don't even know her her by any other name but yrhelper.

Yrhelper is holding a tweetparty for me. It was kicked off today, my 38th birthday! She is holding a contest with prizes to be won. You must go to her blog . (National Transplant Assistance Fund) She is also raising awareness for a possible living kidney donor for me.

She had seen a request made by my Mother-n-law Kathleen on her active rain blog ">active rain blog . From what I understand is that she has a sister that has an autoimmune disease that was attacking her vital organs, but were able to stop it in time with medicine. Unfortunately, that is not my case and part of the reason why I blog about my disease. If I can help just one person to not get to the point that I am at...it is soooooo worth doing this blog!!

Well, I received a phone call from Jenny and Jordan this morning. It seems he will not be able to give me a kidney. He really only has one kidney working.

John and I are so thankful that Jordan and his family tried to help us out. It just was not meant to be. God has another plan for me.

Please pray that Jordan's one kidney continues to do the job of two for him. Many people live just fine like that without any problems. I am sure with a heart like his...he will be one of them.

Jordan is still my hero....

Kidney Transplant Anyone?

As many of you know I have been on the kidney transplant list since December. I have known I would need a transplant for about a year. The lack of posting is because I have been busy on my other blog Sjogrens and Me updating a lot of activity on that aspect of my life. I normally keep my blogs separate because even though both are what defines me...I personally have to keep them apart.

I am happy to say that I have a match and he is currently being tested as my living donor. His name is Jordan and he is a good friend's husband . He is my hero regardless how this turns out. His whole family is.

I will keep you posted.

Braydon's 3rd Birthday

Braydon had his third birthday and had a blast! His good friends Jamari, Suzi, and Belle came over to enjoy the celebration with him. This is his best friend Belle. He doesn't do anything without her and they are always holding hands. His face lights up when he talks about her. (I know he is only 3, but it is just so cute how they are so caring to one another). Homemade catapillar invitations

So, Braydon is turning three and I decided to make his invitations. It was very simple and I really just threw them together. You can make them more "perfect" if you'd like, but I like the raw edge of it.

I bought some colorful cardstock, wiggle eyes, and colorful brads. I cut 4 circles and a catapillar head with antenna. Next, I glued the wiggle eyes and punched a hole for the brads to go through. It folds up pretty nicely.

I wrote on the body of the catapillar:
Oh my goodness...How can it be? Our little Braydon is turning "three"!

I think they turned out pretty good and they cost about the same or less as picking up a package of ready made.

Well, I bought 35 pieces of clothing for around $88.00 for the boys. I was disappointed with the size 5 selection of shorts and pants though. On the upside I made nearly $50.00 from the older size 18-24 month clothing Braydon outgrew.

Speaking of Braydon....he is turning 3 in a couple weeks. I can't believe it. I am busy party planning. I am only inviting about 6 children...not his whole class. I just don't have the energy to do a big party. I think maybe 4 of them will show up. I am planning a dirt/bug party. Sounds funny-eh?

I am going to make a dirt cake for him with gummy worms coming out of it. He LOVES gummies. I have a few cute ideas for party favor/crafts and invitations. I'll let you know when I finalize.

Circus Time Again

We are going to the Shriner's Circus tomorrow night with the boys. (I am sorry if I offend anyone who is against going to the circus) I support the Shriners and what they do for the childrens hospitals across the country.

We love to see all the clowns, elephants, tigers, acrobats, and other acts the circus has to offer. We can't wait!

The consignment sale is going great. I bought 20 pieces of clothing for $58.00 yesterday and plan to go on Sunday when it is 50% off. I have sold a little over $30.00 as of last night and today is the first day open to the public.

Well, it is that time again to get rid of the older outgrown clothes and toys...and bargin shop for new ones with Upstate Kids . I LOVE this sale because I make enough to turn around and buy a wardrobe fit for a king for Nolan & Braydon.

I have nearly 50 items I am selling...mostly boys size 18-24 month clothing. I strongly suggest if your local to Anderson, SC to visit their website and look for times when you can shop. I think it is open to the public this Friday @ 10:00am.

Pizza making at grandma's house

We made homemade pizza a couple of weeks ago at Grandma & Poppy Hann's house. It was scrumptous. The boys enjoyed making their pizza with their favorite toppings pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives.

Even John got in the spirit. He was tossing that dough in the air too. LOL Didn't get a final picture of the pizzas because we ate them so fast. YUM!

We are going to see Beauty and the Beast this Sunday at our local theatre. Grandma and Poppy Hann bought the boys their tickets. Should be fun!

Toadly Fun

We took the boys to a "bouncy" toy indoor park today called Toadly Fun. It was cold and rainy out this past weekend. They had so much energy bottled up...this was our solution!

We let them run around for an hour going from bouncy to bouncy. They ran around non-stop! It amazes me all the energy they have. I want some!

Braydon is now tall enough to climb even in the big ones. I almost had a heart attack as he climbed this with his brother. It was like 10 feet up.

Here they are ready to slide down the 12 ft. slide. It was funny when they made it to the bottom...their hair stood up with all the static. I tried to get a picture, but they were off running to the next one.

Everyone is tuckered out and taking naps including Daddy! I think I am going to surprise them with a party tonight. I think I will make a few favorite finger foods before they get up and pop some popcorn later while we watch a movie. (the boys love popcorn) I think I will wash some strawberries too! Yummy...want to join?

This was taken about 6:00 last night. It was still light out but we had thundersnow happening. Yes....we actually had thunderstorms with snow!!

This was about 8:45am this morning. The boys had a fun tracking through the snow. This was Braydon's and Nolan's first real snowfall other than a dusting to an inch.

The snow came down really wet and then it kinda became icy and crunchy. We actually have a little snow left, and a bit of slush. The news station claims that with our low of 19 expected tonight will refreeze everything ans cause black ice.

The boys' friend was out and they helped a little with the snowman....and then a snowball fight broke out. LOL

OMG! I think we will finally get our first snow fall later today and into tonight. I am like a kid and so excited!! My battery is charged in my camera so I can catch some fun moments with my boys. We may get 2-4 inches which is a ton for us! LOL

This is heading up to my in-laws house, but they are expected to get near a foot I think. I know they won't be happy about that...they always get snow in Rhode Island.

We went to the duck pond today and fed the ducks and geese. We took the boy's friend that lives next door with his Daddy too. I wanted to catch some great updated pictures and.....the dang battery was dead! Snicklefrits!

Needless to say it is now charging and hopefully I will update this blog with something fun.

Today, Nolan and I were looking through his baby picture book and he got really serious and asked how did the doctor get him out of my mouth because he was big. LOL John and I had to explain to him "a little" about where babies come from.

He looked at me and said..."I come out with your poopy"? LOL JOhn even brought a few pictures and diagrams up of where a baby is in a mommy's belly.

I think we sufficed his curiosity at the moment.....

Making Valentines

Nolan enjoys making his cards for his classmates!

This year we picked up postcards in different shapes and colors and decorated them with fun zoo animals themed with hearts.

Braydon really enjoys himself as well. He was very tuned in with making sure they were perfect.

I look forward to the boys making these every year. I hope they will want to continue doing this instead of buying store bought cards.

HA! My Blogger is working at home now! YIPPEE! I can post pictures. These 2 pictures were taken about a week ago. Nolan likes to build and draw buildings right now. That was his latest masterpiece. It had a bathroom and a stall to give cars a bath. :) Braydon was fussing because he didn't want to go down for a nap. That is his "I will NOT do anything I do NOT want to do" look.

My World Tuesday!!

I thought I would join my mother-n-law in her weekly "My World Tuesday". So, this is my world in downtown Anderson, South Carolina. The first picture is of our police station. The architecture is unique in the downtown area and they are in the process of renovating a variety of old and new buildings.

I call this "Gothom City Courthouse". When it was built about 20 years ago there was a huge uproar in that it did not fit our small city's architecture. I would have to agree, but it has grown on me.

A sidewalk in the downtown area of a local yummy restaurant. In the spring we have local artists come around and display artwork, play music, and it is just a good place to hang around with friends and family.

There are many fountains and garden pathways in our downtown area.
This is just a quick peek in my downtown area of my world in Anderson South Carolina!

Not too much has been happening with the boys. I need to take updated pictures and post them. We got a present from Grandma, Poppy, and Uncle Mark in Rhode Island. A web cam!!! We can see them live and talk to them. The boys loved it...so did my inlaws.

We will be making Valentine's Day cards this weekend.

OH...anyone who knows my kidney issue....I could have a new kidney by next month if one of my live donors are a match. Woo-Hoo!

King Tut

Hubs and I went to see the King Tut Exhibit in Atlanta a couple weeknds ago. You can view some of the artifacts on their website I love history and everthing it about it....yeah my high school history teachers would drop their mouth right about now. I discovered this in my college years and surprisingly my interest helped me get A's in a few history/western civilization classes.

I suppose the most intersting thing was the canopic jars that held an organ of the mummy. Apparently they did not think the brain was an important organ because they did not put this in a jar.

Celine Dion Concert in Atlanta

I won these tickets thanks to Magic 98.9. Normally, I would not have ventured to buy tickets to see Celine, but since they were free....I thought why not? I must say that I enjoyed and I am very glad to see her show. It was great!

This was the stage from our seat.

She did nearly 6 costume changes. The stage was different. It was like a bunch of small elevators on it that kept changing colors. Dancers and musicians kept popping up out of it.

She definitely made those crazy hand and face gestures she is known for. I will say that she sounded awesome and I enjoyed all of her songs. You could tell she was very passionate about singing and she truely loves what she does.

I have not done this in awhile, so I thought I would write what my 2 lil pumpkins have been saying and doing lately that has made me snicker.

**After Nolan was in "red" at 4K a few weeks ago....he had mastered the art of trying to weasel his way out of trouble.....
Nolan "Mommy, Mommy...I have a surprise for you because you are my best friend."
He went to his cubby and pulled out a picture of Rudolph. "I made this just for you and he has a red nose...that is why I am in "red".

**Braydon thinks Santa has a baby under his belly because it is so big. He pointed to a picture and asked "baby"?

**The kids got a kid's meal from Chick-fil-a. They had butterflies to put together as a prize and I read the info to them.
Nolan corrected me the next day when I told him to pick up his butterfly. "MOMMY, IT IS A MONARCH BUTTERFLY AND HE WANTS TO NOT BE A CATAPILLAR ANYMORE"!

Anyway....that is all I can think of at the moment. I need to start writing these funnies down so I don't forget!

Brick City Grille Review

My Dearest Brick City Grille,

Happy New Year! It has been almost a week since my family visited your establishment....and yet I still feel the need to write what exactly I think and know of you.

Let's just cut to the chase. Mrs. Brick City Grille...you are rude and one of the most arrogant people I have ever met. My family or I will not be back. (I am sure no love loss there for you either).

I called around 4:30pm on New Year's Eve and made a reservation by phone for 5:45pm. I was told reservations were strongly suggested and it wouldn't be a problem. We arrived around 5:30 and was sat fairly fast after there was a bit of confusion about our reservation. Luckily for us there was plenty of tables available.

We decided to try your establishment because I had won a $50.00 gift certificate. We were celebrating the New Year with our two little boys and planned a night going to see The Wizard Of Oz.

This is when your rude remarks started.

My husband went to the front and asked for a crayon. GASP Yes a crayon. You flippantly stated that you were not expecting or planning on any kids here tonight. Excuse me??? Some people celebrate the New Year as a family. After all, your website states "Whether you bring your family in for quality time together or gather with your friends for an intimate dinner, our restaurant is the perfect place for you with a superior level of service, spirited atmosphere, and high quality foods".

And to top it all off...you soon came to our table and stated that you could not accept our gift certificate because of it being a holiday??? My husband pointed out that it did not state this on our certificate or anywhere in the restaurant. You replied "we have no control over the certificates you win from the radio station and you were lucky to get a table here tonight. If you HAD a gift card that would be different."

Hmmmm...let me see here....you are the owner?? Correct? Sounds like you do have control....so much that I would call you a control freak! I sat there with a blank look on my face noticing the empty tables around us at that time. Apparently, because I had actually won something...I was like gum on the bottom of your shoe.

My husband calmly told you to cancel our order.

"Sir, I am sorry you feel that way. You are lucky to even get a table".

I think that was when my normally cool as a cucumber husband replied...
"Just cancel our order and you can have your table back for some else to use...since we were so lucky to occupy this one".

We were getting our coats on when you came back a few seconds later and said "If your order has been started I will make an exception."

GASP You mean you have control after all??

"I am sorry, we will accept your certificate tonight. Your order has been started".

We should of told you to stick it up your A$$ and left. We stayed....I still don't know why we did. Maybe because our oldest was on the verge of tears saying he was hungry and wanted to stay...maybe it was because at this point we needed to eat to make it to the 7:30 show.

Our bill was well over $50.00.

My husband and I have never felt so humiliated. I have not been looked down like that by anyone. I am ashamed that I let you make me feel like I was gum on the bottom of your shoe. The tone and sarcasm of your voice lingers, yet despite your attempts I am happy to say we enjoyed the rest of our evening.

We left. I saw other children in there as well. It is nice to know that others celebrate the New Year as a family too. I suggest you try that Mrs. Brick City Grille. It could help melt that icy stone face facade you have. It is a suggestion...afterall what does a former seasoned manager of a one million net restaurant know.

Wizard Of OZ

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! John and I took the boys to see The Wizard of OZ on New Year's Eve. We had dinner at Brick City Grill in Greenville...which I won't go into details about...because this is a "happy" post and that restaurant will make it go sour!! (I will blog about Brick City Grill in the next few days)

We were up high in the balcony section. Higher than I anticipated, but still not too bad. The boys were giggling with excitement when it started. The tornado made Nolan ask a zillion questions like "why is the house in the air"?

Nolan didn't like the witch and said she was ugly. Braydon yelled out when the lion was being bad scaring the tin man and scarecrow. He yelled "BAD, BAD, LION"! It was funny! Braydon also was dancing to the music.

During intermission we were all getting sleepy. This play lasts almost 3 hours!! The second half of the show Braydon did fall asleep about the time that the flying monkeys came around. Nolan stayed awake.

On the way back to the car Nolan kept singing "We're off to see the wizard".

Nolan thanked me the next morning for taking him and he said it was "Awesome Mom".

.....and that is a great way to start out the new year!

Well....I think we may have got Braydon away from the pacifier. He is now 2 1/2 years old. We have been "TRYING" to use it for night time only.

When Braydon asked for it last night at bedtime, I told him Santa Claus took it for another little boy who needs it.

I thought he was going to have a screaming fit at me, but instead he just laughed and said "OK Mommy".

My Christmas Wish....

I have a lot to be thankful for. I enjoyed the turkey with all the trimmings just like most did. However, in the back of mind I kept thinking of what was going on in India. The terrorists and hostages and all those innocent lives that were turned upside down. It is hard to believe that there are people out there that want to do harm like this.

A little closer to home is what happened to a 34 year old Walmart employee this past Friday.....just because we wanted a good bargain. Is this what Americans have become? Is the true meaning of Christmas suppose to be about who can get the best deal? We TRAMPLED the guy...just to save a buck???

And another story locally that rips my heart out. A man beats his seven year old to death with a steel mop handle. His five year old survived the incident. He is a monster. I feel no remorse for him. How can anyone do this?

My Christmas wish is for those who have lost their family members in violence, abuse, or other unnecessary ways to find peace.

I know I am still trying to find it for them...

Dear Avid Smoker,

Do you realize that you smell? I am being honest here. I know I am far from perfect, but at least I don't stink. I can be 15 feet away from you and I smell that nasty stale stench that makes my nose crinkle. I gag and cough at times. It reminds me of that character on Charlie Brown....what is his name??

Pig Pen? Instead of dirt...it is the aroma of stale smoke.

What really gets me....is when you come in with your sick child to get a nebulizer to help with their breathing. I tell you not to smoke around the child or the nebulizer and you literally say "WHY?"

DUH! They may have to be on a nebulizer because their cold has turned into acute bronchitis....and guess what? Smoking around your child is NOT good.
Studies have shown that a third of children suffering from certain conditions such as chest infections and asthma are the victims of passive smoking.

I am only stating the obvious. Your habit makes people gag and gasp for air. At least I can get away from you.....your children cannot.

When we were in Rhode Island visiting Poppy, Grandma, and Uncle Mark we took a little detour and flew a kite that John & I bought for the boys in a neat little toy shop in New Hampshire.

Auntie Rea came along too. She even flew the kite for a bit with the boys!

Nolan caught on fast. Hopefully he doesn't take to kite boarding over the open water when he is bigger. (Mommy will have to take "nerve" pills if he does) LOL

Braydon wasn't too sure about holding the string that was tugging. He let go, but Daddy had a hold of it too.

We are having an issue with downloading pics from our vacation. Hopefully Hubs will have it fixed by this weekend. We are toooooo exhausted to worry about until then. I promise there will be a lot of pics! Maybe my mother-n-law can post some pics on her blog. (hint, hint, nudge, nudge) ;)

Here is something funny that happened this morning....

I stopped by Chick-fil-a to get the boys breakfast and I ordered 2 milks, 2 small fruits, and 2 small hash browns. Nolan rolls his window down and shouts to the lady "AND 3 BOOGERS!"

HELLOOOOOO...where did he learn that? I couldn't help but laugh. Of course I told him that it wasn't nice and what if she did put boogers in his food. He pondered for a moment and said he didn't want boogers.

Here are Poppy, Grandma, and Uncle Mark!

We are very excited to be seeing Poppy,Grandma,and uncle Mark soon in Rhode Island. It won't be too much longer. We are going to one of John's college friend's wedding too. John is in the wedding party. On the way back home we will be stopping at another one of John's college friend's house to stay a night or two. He is a Pastor and is expecting his second child. We cannot wait to see family and friends. This is long overdo!

Consignment Extravaganza

I bought 32 pieces of clothing and 1 new diego clothes hamper for less than $70.00. This is Nolan's winter wardrobe. Plus he needs this to see Poppy and Grandma in Rhode Island in a couple weeks. (It was down in the 30's there the other night) I bought hardly used corduroys, jeans, khaki's, sweaters, long sleeved shirts, overalls, and fall jackets for him. A few pieces are for Braydon too. I would have spent easily $500 had I bought this new. There are no rips or stains. This makes me VERY HAPPY! I also sold some of the boys older toys and outfits they had outgrown. I made over $17.00 to the good. I will definitely be doing this again.

Monday Meltdown

This morning on the way to daycare my oldest son told me "You are a bad Mommy". Talk about ripping my heart out and stomping on it....and kicking dirt on it too. I told him that he hurt my feelings.

I wouldn't let him take his plastic binoculars to daycare because it was not show and tell day. They do not like toys from home brought in except for show and tell day.

I was just about in tears. In my head I was thinking of "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".

When I dropped him off and left him with his teacher....he ran back to me and said "I want to give you a hug and a kiss". So I hugged and kissed him and he said "You ARE a good Mommy". I hugged and kissed him again.

It has been a tough day. You see I am rummaging through my boys' older toys and clothes to sell at a local consignment Sale. It is very difficult for me to do this. I know I will be crying as I give up some of their toys and outfits from when they were babies. Sounds funny huh? I can't keep everything from the past couple of years. I guess part of it stems from me wishing we would have another child. My health won't allow it and adoption is a distant memory. Recent developments have made me realise that I need to be thankful for my two beautiful boys and be there for them.

I will miss the first time they noticed when they pushed a button of a toy, music would play. Nolan would take a quick loud breath and smile. Braydon would crinkle his nose and laugh. I miss their "juicy" fat legs that would peek through their clothes. (Braydon still has juicy legs). I will miss them singing their ABC's with the Leap Frog phonics bus or Caterpillar. I will badly miss the Classic Pooh crib set that both of them used as babies in their cribs. But, it is time for the "older" things to make room for the "new" things. And maybe, just maybe....

another Mommy or Daddy will make memories to last a lifetime with the "things" I have held on to so dear. After all they are just things.

***UPDATE***

After looking at everything I am pulling out about 6 items I just can't depart with right now. I think Hubs is having a hard time too. Two of the items are pieces of clothing that the boys wore to have their first Christmas pics in. Nolan was in a velvet green outfit with a reindeer and Braydon wore a snow baby blue sleeper with a reindeer on it. I can't get rid of their Leap Frog Table either....I like to play with this still!

The price of GAS is making me MAD...it is over $4.09 here and up .50 cents the past 48 hours?!?!? Come on....the gulf makes like 10-15% of the oil for us and the barrel is less than $100.00 right now. A long time low! Let's just blame the hurricane for price gouging! Diapers are up .77 cents per package from last week....Jenny, I am really wishing I went to cloth right about now. Apple Juice up $1.30 the past year too....and if you want to eat healthy....you need to take out a second mortgage.

We had the Great Southeastern Balloon Festival this past weekend. The festival happens every year and we had 90 balloonists come out to this event! You should see the sky when you can count 50+ hot air balloons....it is awesome!

Six Things You May Not Know About Me.....

I was tagged by Jenny at Babyfingers....so here it goes...

1) I am VERY...VERY...afraid of spiders. Little ones...big ones...anything that looks like a spider. For me to kill a spider that may be as big as a dime (legs and all) I have to really mentally prepare myself for it...with breathing exercises and all!

2) I should have been a meteorologist.(Did I spell this right) I am obsessed with hurricanes, tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms. I can keep the weather channel on for hours!

3) I like to try new things....I have swam with stingrays and sharks. (of course I was practically sitting on my husband's and sister's head). I went on a banana boat going a zillion miles an hour only to be thrown 12 feet in the air. I really want to ride a zip line across the tops of trees....that will be my next endeavor!

4) My hubs and I met on the Internet back in 1994. There really wasn't an Internet back then....I don't know what it was called....but it was by accident over the computer!

5) I never did actually take the "Driving Part" of the test when you are 16. I only took the written part and somehow they handed me a license and of course at that age I didn't say a word. I still can't parallel park!

6) Ignorant people annoy me...not genuine stupid people....but ignorant people!

A Day Of Putt-Putt

I was listening to my favorite radio station this morning and decided to pick up the phone and call for the "Pick Your Idiot" game that Magic 98.9 plays with the morning crew of TK & Monnie. You have 60 seconds to get as many answers correct. Think of the prymaid gameshow on TV. That is how it is played! I was excited when they told me I was player #1. This meant that I could pick which DJ I wanted to play with. I picked Monnie. She normally doesn't win as much as TK....but something told me to pick her. I pulled over the side of the road so I could concentrate! Both Nolan and Braydon were wondering what I was doing. LOL They could hear Nolan in the background talking and asked what his name was. (this child has been on more radio shows than ever....he bound to be a star!)

I couldn't tell you all the words I got right...it is a bit of a blur! I remember guessing fortune, advantage, drill, power tool, and one other I can't remember! The other girl got only 3 right....and of course I thought her words were easier. ;) SO....I WON!

Hubs and I have a date for Jan.17, 2009 in Atlanta! It is on a Saturday and we will probably spend the night somewhere nice in Atlanta too!

John and I have been blessed winning things. Maybe it is good karma....good luck....or good whatever....I hope it continues! Of course our biggest prize was last year win John won the 1962 Convertible T-bird! Take a peek if you haven't heard of this story!

When Nolan and Auntie Crystal were playing with Lightning McQueen and Mater this past weekend (Nolan was McQueen and Auntie was Mater)......Auntie Crystal said "Hey...McQueen, do you need a tow?" Nolan looked at the bottom of his Lightning McQueen and shook his head..."No, I don't need a toe...I have tires!"

This morning, I was undoing Nolan's shoelaces that were triple tied. There was a good knot that I was struggling to get out...Braydon leans over Nolan's shoe and at that time my hand shot up punching him in the nose!! I finally got the knot out! Braydon looks at me and crinkles his nose and furrows his brows together. "MOMMY!!! DON'T DO THAT!" I was giggling so hard as I was giving him a hug.

Well.....the invitations are sent! My oldest is turning 4 soon and wants to have a Diego party. I bought these invitations at partycity. I was going to make them, but time sneaked up! I put that the party was being held at Diego's Rainforest with our home address. NOW...I have two weeks to prepare...anyone have any ideas on how to transform a house and yard into a rainforest? Money is a big issue...I need to be frugal here! I found these cute compass rings that I attached to each invitation. I was looking for magnifying glasses but didn't have any luck.

I am ordering online cute little plastic binoculars that the kids can decorate with Deigo/Dora stickers and use on their rainforest animal rescue. I have been talking to Hubs and he is going to help me put together a skit that involves Mama McCaw looking for lost Baby McCaw...or Mama Jaguar looking for Baby Jaguar.

Thursday Thirteen....Funny things my boys have said or done!

1) Nolan looks at me with a wrinkled nose and says "What happened in there?" He opened the door to Braydon's class this morning and a little one apparently just made a dirty diaper that smelled of the meadows. He closed that door real fast!

2) Braydon laughs so hard he snorts like a little pig.

3) When I tell Nolan "I love you, baby!" He exclaims "I am NOT a baby....I am a BBBIIIGGGG boy mommy"!

4) Braydon makes fun of his daddy already. He really does. He just turned two and he imitates his daddy when he snores. I pointed this out to John and Braydon just giggles at his daddy when he asks him about it. Then he snores at him.

5) Nolan told his Grandma Corbett to give Poppy Corbett a kiss and rub his belly because Poppy Corbett is in the hospital not feeling good! Get better POPPY!

6) Braydon doesn't like the texture of certain foods. He makes a wrinkled nosed face and spits it out and exclaims "NO"!

7) Nolan was upset the other day when Daddy forgot to put his booster seat back in Mommy's car. We had to borrow the neighbor's spare booster seat. He got on the phone and said very sternly "Daddy, you don't ever do that again"! (he was shaking his finger at the phone)

8) Both of the boys love to have parties for everything. We had a party last night because it was the middle of the week!

9) Every time Daddy sits or lays down on the floor....the kids attack him. They love to wrestle him.

10) Every little thing that seems to come out of Nolan's mouth is phrased as a question. He will ask 12-15 questions in less than a minute. Seriously!

11) When we were visiting my sister...we went to the wrong restaurant to meet my parents. Nolan was so tuckered out that he slept on a chair curled up in a ball when we finally got there.

12) Braydon doesn't like to be told "no". He will get embarrassed and cover his eyes and peak out to see who is looking.

13) Both of the imitating me doing fish lips. They will chase me around the house!

1)What was I doing ten years ago? I was getting ready to be engaged....I really didn't know it at the time and working my butt off at Red Lobster as a manager. Working 60+ hours a week. YUK!

2)What are five things on your to-do list today? Doing this tag, receiving and putting numbers into excel for the boutiques, looking for a hotel for Charleston, visiting my friend Jill for lunch, and giving my husband and boys big kisses and hugs!

3)Snacks I enjoy....I like chocolate covered strawberries, I also like this hot cheese dip my Dad makes with chips or pretzels....ooohhh I love good cheese too.

4)Things I would do if I was a billionaire. I would take a BIIIIG vacation first. I love to travel. Maybe a Disney Cruise and then Disney with my family and extended family. I would also go on a vacation without the boys or anyone else except with Hubs to New Zealand or Fiji for a week. I would also contribute to a local children's charity for abused children. The animal shelter could use some help too...my boys could help with this one! My project would be to have a Sjogren's support group developed and maybe even a clinic for people with autoimmune diseases specifically Sjogrens, Lupus, and MS. All the autoimmune diseases that deal with connective tissue.

5)Places I have lived. Where do I begin? Oregon, Myrtle Beach, North Dakota, 2 places in Ohio, 2 places in Germany (stuttgart and Frankfurt), Connecticutt, and Clemson, Pendleton, and Anderson South Carolina....also a brief month in Massachusetts.

6)Jobs I have had. YMCA Daycare, Church daycare, receptionist, intern interior designer, restaurant manager, customer service specialist, certified lactation educator, and most important a MOM!

7) I am suppose to tag 5 people....but I think I'll tag Booda's Business!

Hmmmmmm....I thought. What does he mean by this? I was dropping him off at daycare/school. I didn't need him to carry anything.....I was just fine.

"I want to give you a hand mommy!" He shaped his little hand into a fist....I did the same. He then bumped his fist with mine. Knuckles to knuckles. I had to laugh! He learned a new "handshake" and he is still only 3.

He must of gave me about 5 hands this morning. He was so proud to show me.

We had great fun at the Ripley's Aquarium this past weekend. The boys were so excited to see all the fish and sharks! Enjoy the slideshow!

We went to my sister's for a long weekend to the Knoxville area of Tennessee. It was beautiful and the drive is always nice....although a little long with two toddlers. We spent the day shopping and then we grilled out....the old fashion way with charcoal. :) We also made smores and they were good! After a nap, we went to see fireworks on the river. I have to mention my little splurge...I bought a new quilt for mine and John's bed. It is gorgeous!!! My sister and mom bought me 2 pillow shams and 2 regular pillows to go with it as an early birthday present. I will post pictures of it soon!
